Pastor Parks and the Pilgrim Family have been invited to Rev. Scott Onque, St. Luke M. B. Church, Chicago, IL for the Pastor’s Appreciation on Sunday, September 22, 2019. Vans will be available to leave immediately following morning service for those needing transportation.
Calling all women of Pilgrim! The Mission Ministry will be sponsoring their annual “Bountiful Blessing” program on Monday, September 23rd at 6 p.m. A special play performance, “The Redeeming” directed by Noah I Brown will be presented for your enjoyment. Dinner will be provided. See you there!
The Fellowship Baptist District Association 5th Sunday Inspirational Service is scheduled for Sunday, September 29th at 4 p.m. here at Pilgrim.
Women’s Day Fellowship Luncheon
The Women’s Day committee is planning a special Women’s Day Fellowship Luncheon to celebrate the Elegance of Womanhood. The luncheon will be on Saturday, October 5th at 11 a.m. in our fellowship hall. We are honored and blessed to present two of our very own, Sis. Latonia Dumas and Sis. Natalia Woods as our featured speakers. We are encouraging all women to dress up and treat yourself to an afternoon of elegance and excellence!
Men & Women Day Celebration
The laymen Ministry & Mission Ministry will be leading our 2019 Men and Women Day celebration on Sunday, October 13th. The theme is “Men and Women Striving for Excellence’ Psalms 8:1. The Women’s Day speaker at 11 a.m. will be Sis. Cara Clark, New Life Church of Faith, Danville, IL. The Men’s Day speaker at 3 p.m. will be Rev. Dr. Jarvis Hanson, New Nazareth M. B. Church, Chicago, IL.
BYF Fall Festival
The Baptist Youth Fellowship will have their annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 26th from 4-6 p.m. They are in need of candy donations.
If you are need of transportation for Sunday School, Morning, Service, BYF, Prayer Meeting, Bible Study, Choir Rehearsal, etc., please fill out a form that will be available in the Secretary’s office or call the church at 356-9633 by FRIDAY at 1:00 p.m. of each week. Please make sure you cancel if you do NOT need transportation by FRIDAY.

Lost and Found
The Lost and Found is located in the hallway. Those who have lost any items can check in the tub that is labeled. Please do not remove any item that does not belong to you.
